Noon Meals at Lycee Moderne de l’Amitie 2025

Thanks to generous donors, 250 village girls enjoy noon meals at the LMA this school year.

Since 2005, girls attending the Lycee Moderne de l’Amitie (LMA) have scored 30% - 50% higher on year-end national exams than students throughout the region and nation.  The combination of learning conditions (including a noon meal, high academic standards and committed teachers and students) are crucial to this success.

Since the 2022-2023 school year, BFGEF has supported school fees at the LMA for middle/secondary school girls from internally displaced families (villagers who have fled their homes due to on-going terrorist attacks in northern Burkina Faso) living in tent camps in the Ouahigouya area.
